When I joined SWDAA, I had the opportunity to connect and collaborate with some amazing Alumni Brothers and Sisters through social events and themed General Body Meetings. Anytime I attended Southwest District Convention, I always looked forward to participating in our SWDAA sessions and activities.

I joined SWDAA in 2017 and have enjoyed getting to meet new people and see how the Southwest functions. Coming from the Midwest, I have been able to take ideas from SWDAA and implement them in MWDAA to help us become a stronger DAA.

Some people join LAAs to continue friendships, but I joined SWDAA because I knew I had found my family. When I first joined the DAA, its leadership welcomed me with open arms and made me feel right at home. I'm proud to call the Southwest District my home and to welcome all of our Southwest District Brothers and Sisters.

Joining SWDAA was one of the easiest and best decisions I made after graduation. I joined to give back to my district however I could as a young alumnus, but I've stayed because of the people. SWDAA has some of the best members you'll ever meet. Our programs are great, but our members are the heart and soul that help us thrive.
